Social Anxiety High School Group (9th-12th graders)

For teens who are having difficulty socializing with peers and communicating their needs

Have you noticed your high schooler withdrawing or isolating themselves? They’ve stopped going out with friends and having little to no motivation to be social in general. Does your teen…

  • have trouble opening up?

  • seem less comfortable talking to others?

  • cannot effectively communicate their needs to peers and adults?

They may be experiencing social anxiety and need support navigating this challenge.

Led by Jessica Rodriguez, AMFT

As someone who has effectively learned how to challenge their social anxiety, I know how important it is to gain the necessary skills and grounding techniques to combat social anxiety in the moment and become more comfortable overall.

This group will focus on the feelings that come along with overcoming social anxiety and strengthening our inner self. In doing so we will get to practice skills, in a safe environment, with peers experiencing similar situations, including:

  • Naming emotions

  • Regulating and identifying coping skills that work

  • Having appropriate and healthy boundaries

  • Effectively communicating with others

Ultimately, we want your teens to feel comfortable with who they are, who they are becoming, and become comfortable with being unapologetically themselves.

The next cycle of this group will start in early 2024. Fill out the form below to join the waitlist!
