Philosophy

"We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing" - George Bernard Shaw

Growing up has never been an easy task. It can be difficult to share with adults, parents, and teachers what they are feeling, especially when they are not even sure themselves. Working with teens is Jamie’s passion - she loves to support young people during a time full of self-discovery.

Jamie uses a strengths-based approach to help teens and young adults develop coping skills, increase understanding, learn emotional intelligence and cultivate independence. Jamie is AuDHD (ADHD & Autistic) and is educated in how neurodivergent brains present with unique learning styles, sensory sensitivities and complex histories. Alongside Jamie, you will build a strong foundation of your own identity which will allow you to confidently problem-solve.

Jamie loves to paint, color, collect fidget toys and cuddle with her kitties.
