Life’s unpredictability can feel like curveballs being thrown at you, making you fumble the ball, or losing health in one of your favorite video games, o que falles un penal. Jessica loves supporting the younger generation through the rollercoaster of life and assist them accept their authentic self, grow comfortability with who they are, and become unapologetically themselves. Working with teens has always been something Jessica has been passionate about. She uses a strengths-based approach to help children, teens, and young adults develop coping skills for their anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, and navigating the difficulties that come up in life. Jessica takes her realness, lived experiences, empathy, and compassionate nature, and applies it to the core of her work as a therapist. Jessica tiene una pasión por ayudar a la gente Hispana poder romper el estigma de la salud mental y hablar sobre las emociones y los sentimientos. A ella le encanta los deportes, los parques de atracciones, y viajar a diferentes lugares del mundo.

Experience

Jessica moved to Arizona to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northern Arizona University. Right after finishing her Bachelor’s, Jessica moved back to California to earn her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of La Verne to receive her. Jessica has utilized her knowledge and understanding of mental health in a variety of settings including a homeless shelter, substance use facilities, and in a neurodivergent affirming private practice.
